Series of Collective Security Treaty Organization exercises launched in Kyrgyzstan

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has launched a number of exercises in Kyrgyzstan, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The number includes the command and staff exercise Vzaimodeistviye 2024 [Interaction] for the CSTO collective rapid response forces, the special exercise Poisk 2024 [Search] with reconnaissance forces and assets, and the Eshelon 2024 [Echelon] exercise with logistics support forces and assets.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, First Deputy Defense Minister, Major-General Pavel Muraveiko and heads of the delegations sent by the CSTO member states took part in the opening ceremony.
The head of the Belarusian military delegation visited the command post of the CSTO collective rapid response forces. He heard out reports from the Belarusian officers, who belong to the command staff of the exercises.
