Belarus, Equatorial Guinea discuss implementation of cooperation development roadmap
MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Topical matters of bilateral interaction were discussed as Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora of Equatorial Guinea Simeon Oyono Esono Angue, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The ministers discussed the realization of instructions given as a result of negotiations of the heads of state in December 2023. They exchanged opinions about topical matters of bilateral interaction and summarized results of the visit of the Equatorial Guinea government delegation to Belarus.
The Belarusian minister of foreign affairs underlined the importance of persistent realization of the roadmap, which the two presidents signed in Malabo and which is designed to guide the advancement of cooperation between Belarus and Equatorial Guinea.
Simeon Oyono Esono Angue conveyed the greetings sent by Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to the Belarusian head of state and the Belarusian nation and also congratulated Maksim Ryzhenkov on assuming the office of the minister of foreign affairs, the press service said.
