Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to meet on 30 September-1 October
MOSCOW, 23 September (BelTA) — The heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will convene for a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on 30 September — 1 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The agenda of the meeting includes items related to the main areas of industrial cooperation within the EAEU until 2030, the concept for the formation of a common exchange (organized) market of goods of the EAEU and the rules for information exchange in the common electricity market of the EAEU.
The prime ministers of the five countries are set to discuss the action plan to the guidelines for the coordinated (agreed) transport policy of the EAEU member states for 2024-2026, harmonization of the legislation of the EAEU countries in civil aviation. Reports will also be heard on the progress in the development of the common gas market and the common markets for oil and oil products of the EAEU in 2023.
