New Kazakh ambassador presents copies of credentials to Belarusian foreign minister

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Timur Zhaxylykov on 26 June, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The new head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission presented copies of credentials to the minister.

Sergei Aleinik and Timur Zhaxylykov exchanged opinions about the state and prospects of development of Belarusian-Kazakh relations. Close attention was paid to the enhancement of trade and economic cooperation, the development of interregional ties, the organization of forthcoming visits of Belarusian and Kazakh delegations, and interaction within the framework of international organizations.

The parties reaffirmed adherence to further advancement of relations in the spirit of strategic partnership between Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Sergei Aleinik wished every success to the ambassador in his diplomatic work.
