The Novator Orchard, a farm located in Dzerzhinsk District, have tested more than 1,000 varieties of fruit and berry seedlings of foreign and domestic selection for the past 20 years. The most promising apple varieties sell well in retail chains. Mass harvesting of apples and pears in the orchard near Dzerzhinsk has not yet begun, although the earliest varieties have already been picked here. The major harvest will kick off here in early September.
