Over 5.6m tonnes of grain, rapeseed threshed in Belarus
MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – More than 5.6 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 3 August, 5.661 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which includes 4.615 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops and 1.046 tonnes of winter rapeseed.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast harvested 1.457 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed), Brest Oblast 1.364 million tonnes, Grodno Oblast 1.261 million tonnes, Gomel Oblast 590,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast 580,400 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast 407,600 tonnes.
