MINSK, 31 October (BelTA — SANA) — Foreign and Expatriates Minister
Bassam Sabbagh held talks on Wednesday with Prime Minister of the
Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko at the government building in
Minsk ,on aspects of bilateral relations between Syria and Belarus and
ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields.

Sabbagh praised the mutual support between Syria and Belarus at various
international forums, and bilateral cooperation at all levels, pointing
out the importance of confronting the common challenges facing the two
friendly countries, represented by the West’s attempts to interfere in
their domestic affairs, and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on
them, within a strategic framework, which allows work to find the
necessary means and methods to confront them.
In turn ,
Golovchenko expressed his country’s continued support for Syria,
especially in light of the difficult circumstances it faces, including
the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries
and Belarus’ commitment to implement the agreed upon agreements.
