UEFA Europa League: Norwegian referees to umpire Dinamo Minsk vs Anderlecht match
MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) — The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has appointed referees for the play-offs of the continental tournaments, BelTA has learned.
FC Dinamo Minsk’s first leg against R.S.C. Anderlecht is scheduled in Mezőkövesd, Hungary on 22 August. The team of referees will be led by Rohit Saggi of Norway. His assistant referees will be Morten Jensen and Anders Olav Dale. Sigurd Kringstad will be the fourth official. Nikola Dabanović of Montenegro is set to umpire the second leg which is due to take place in Brussels on 29 August. The winner will perform in the Europa League main stage. The loser will be relegated to the Conference League.
FC Dinamo Minsk kicked off the current season in the Champions League. In the first qualifying round Dinamo Minsk prevailed over FC Pyunik (0-0 and 1-0). Then the Belarusians lost to PFC Ludogorets Razgrad (0-2 and 1-0) to get transferred to the Europa League. In the Europa League third qualifying round FC Dinamo Minsk proved stronger over Lincoln Red Imps (2-0 and 1-2).
