Belarusian light industry present in almost 70 Russian regions

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian light industry is present in almost 70 regions of the Russian Federation, Chairwoman of the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom Tatiana Lugina told the media, BelTA has learned.

“We are present in about 70 out of 85 regions of the Russian market. We continue industrial cooperation with Russian regions and promote our goods in trade facilities. Last year we opened two Da Domu trading houses in the Russian Federation market. We plan to open eight more in large Russian cities within the next two years,” Tatiana Lugina said.

According to her, the country’s light industry performed quite well in 2023. There was an increase in exports, and not only to the Russian Federation. “We had an increase in sales to the markets of the faraway countries, and to the CIS countries. All this came as a result of fruitful work and systematic interaction with our colleagues in industrial cooperation, in trade with such countries as Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan,” the Bellegprom chairwoman said.

The upward trend in exports of Bellegprom’s products to the markets of the CIS and non-CIS countries continues this year.
