Lukashenko congratulates Sheikh Meshal as he is sworn in as new emir of Kuwait

MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as he has been sworn in as the new emir of Kuwait, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I have no doubts that the long-standing warm relations and constructive dialogue between Minsk and Kuwait City will be bolstered by remarkable innovative projects in trade, investment, information technology, and international finance. We are ready to receive your delegation of specialists in the above-mentioned and other areas in the very near future in order to update the joint action plan,” the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state wished His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah good health, happiness and success, and Kuwaiti people peace and prosperity.
