Belarus 95th in FIFA rankings
MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) — Belarus’ national team complete 2023 at the 95th spot in the FIFA World Rankings, BelTA has learned.
Over the past month, the Belarusian team did not play any matches and kept its place with a total of 1,232,8 points. In 2023 the Belarusian national team played ten matches: three victories, three draws and four defeats. Belarus’ best performance was 36th spot in the FIFA rankings in February 2011.
The FIFA’s December rankings are topped by Argentina. France is second, England – third and followed by Belgium and Brazil.
As for the former Soviet Union countries, Ukraine is 22nd. The next rankings of the world’s football teams will be released on 15 February 2024.
Belarus ranks 57th in the women’s teams rankings. Spain top the rankings. Top five also include the United States, France, England and Sweden. The next FIFA Women’s World Rankings will be published in March 2024.
