Belarus, North Korea hold ministerial consultations
MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) — The foreign ministries of Belarus and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have held political consultations, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik told BelTA.
Last week, the Korean Central News Agency reported about the visit of Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov to the country. Details of the visit were not given by the parties.
According to Sergei Aleinik, those were scheduled ministerial consultations.
“The parties discussed a range of issues that relate to the bilateral agenda, with an emphasis on humanitarian cooperation. Interaction in international organizations was also discussed,” Sergei Aleinik explained.
