Belarus, South Korea discuss potential cooperation avenues

MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky took part in a trip to Jeju Island, Jeju-do Province the other day. The trip was organized for heads of foreign diplomatic missions in the Republic of Korea, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Seoul told BelTA.

During the trip the diplomats could get familiar with the operation of the Jeju Free International City Development Center. They also visited the local fresh water plant Samdasoo.

Meeting with top officials of Jeju-do Province was part of the trip’s itinerary. Participants of the meeting discussed the province’s development prospects, current regional and international economic trends as well as potential avenues of bilateral cooperation.
