Belarus to hold national cleanup day on 20 April
MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) — The national cleanup day(aka subbotnik) will be held in Belarus on 20 April. Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko signed a corresponding resolution, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.
The money earned on the cleanup day, including at workplaces, will be spent in the following ways: 35% will go to the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the To Children — Victims of War memorial in the village of Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin District, 35% — to the Brest Oblast Executive Committee for a project to set up a national center for patriotic education in the Kobrin fortification of Brest Fortress, 30% — for the reconstruction and restoration of memorial complexes, places of military and military glory located in the regions and the city of Minsk.
