FM: Belarus, India outline list of investment projects

MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) — Belarus and India have identified a list of
mutually beneficial investment projects for joint implementation,
Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said at a solemn
event to mark India’s 75th Republic Day on 26 January, BelTA has
learned.

“Last year Belarus and India continued to develop
sustainable relations, strengthen political dialogue, expand economic
and humanitarian ties,” Sergei Aleinik said. “Despite the objective
difficulties, we managed to ensure the growth of trade. In 2023 we
reached $500 million in mutual trade.”

The minister also
mentioned that the parties held meetings of joint working groups on
pharmaceuticals, textile industry, interbank consultations, as well as a
series of business contacts and visits, including industrial,
pharmaceutical, chemical and business forums.

“We continued
effective work in agriculture, industry and pharmaceuticals. We outlined
a list of mutually beneficial investment projects for joint
implementation,” Sergei Aleinik said.
