Lukashenko congratulates Madagascar President Rajoelina on winning re-election
MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Andry Rajoelina on winning reelection as President of Madagascar, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
«The results of the elections testify to the broad support in the society of your ideas and approaches,» the message read. “Under your confident leadership, Madagascar is courageously confronting numerous challenges, including climatic anomalies. Your efforts to develop the social sphere and improve the well-being of people deserve the highest respect.»
The Belarusian head of state reaffirmed his commitment to developing closer political and economic ties: «I will be glad to meet with you in Belarus or Madagascar and also at international venues and discuss the whole range of issues of cooperation between our countries.»
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Andry Rajoelina good health and success in his responsible state post, and peace and prosperity to the Malagasy people.
