MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) — In modern conditions, there is no place for rigid dogmatism that views subversive activity and terrorist activity as something autonomous, separate, Chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security Saimumin Yatimov told the media, BelTA has learned.

The head of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security arrived in Minsk for the 19th session of the Meeting of Heads of Security Bodies and Intelligence Services of the CIS member states on 14 December. «We have gathered in Minsk at the behest of our heads of state. The main subject of our meeting will be the fight against the enemy’s subversive activities and against terrorist organizations and manifestations,» he said. «I am convinced that there is no place for rigid dogmatism, which considers subversive activities and terrorist activity as something autonomous, separate.»

According to Saimumin Yatimov, in the current situation the task of intelligence and counterintelligence is to look into the essence of manifestations of terrorism, to identify the determining logic, to find those who initiate, finance, organize, plan, and implement terrorist activities. «We will compare notes in terms of the quality and depth of prompt response. We will develop common thinking and common actions for the benefit of our states and peoples,» Saimumin Yatimov stressed.
